Sheffield Wednesday will be absolutely desperate for a win when they travel to South Wales to face Swansea City this weekend after a torrid few weeks.

A disappointing 2-2 draw with Rotherham United at Hillsborough last weekend left the Owls with just one win in their last eight matches, with Lucas Joao's two goals doing little to ease the pressure on Jos Luhukay.

The club now sit in 17th place in the league, edging closer to the relegation zone with just six points separating them from Reading, who currently occupy the final spot in the drop zone.

Joey Pelupessy is confident they can turn things round, though, even without Fernando Forestieri, who tore his hamstring in the clash with Blackburn Rovers last month.

In an interview with the Sheffield Star, he said how he has faith in the attacking talent within the squad to fill the gap.

Is he right?

Forestieri's absence is a huge concern.

Sheffield Wednesday have really struggled this season and without their talisman they look void of any confidence or ideas going forward.

Jos Luhukay will need Forestieri back in action as quickly as possible.

Chris Gallagher

Not at all!

Forestieri is a major player for Wednesday and one of few who can unlock a defence with his creativity and technique.

However, they have to try and cope so you can understand Pelupessy's comments, but he's way off here.

Louie Chandler

I disagree with him but I doubt he believes it either.

He will know just how good a player Forestieri can be and how inflexible Luhukay can be with his attacking setup.

Yes, they have plenty of attacking talent on the sidelines, but that does not help the current situation.
