Nottingham Forest are set to oversee plenty of departures at the City Ground this month as Sabri Lamouchi looks to further strengthen his squad.

The Reds have already lost Rafa Mir after Wolves recalled him from his loan spell at the City Ground on Tuesday evening, and he has since signed on loan for SD Huesca in Spain.

Chema Rodriguez also looks set to leave Forest this month with reports linking him with a move to UD Almeria, despite spending only five months on Trentside since joining from Levante in the summer.

Other fringe players, such as Zach Clough, Liam Bridcutt and Michael Hefele are all expected to leave the club this month, with the latter completely surplus to requirements under Lamouchi.

The German has endured a tricky time with injuries over the past year, and hasn't featured for the Reds since their 4-2 win over Leeds United in January 2019.

Hefele made 18 appearances for Forest in all competitions last season, but now finds himself way down the pecking order under Lamouchi, behind the likes of Michael Dawson, Joe Worrall and Tobias Figueiredo.
