West Brom manager Slaven Bilic cannot help but be satisfied heading into the international break, with his side sitting on top of the Championship on goal difference, having only suffered one defeat in the league all season.

Bilic's squad are really starting to fire with the players who were recruited in the summer certainly making their mark, players like midfielder Romaine Sawyers who has been a constant for Bilic since arriving from Brentford in the summer.

But would you say Sawyers has been West Brom's best signing of the summer?

We discuss.........

Chris Thorpe

"He's up there, for sure.

"However, in my opinion, I would put Grady Diangana as the best signing at the Hawthorns.

"Sawyers has really influenced the way the team transitions defence to attack, however Diangana has impressed me more as a match winner.

"Sawyers is definitely up there as one of the best midfield players in the league, but I guess I'm just more impressed by more attack minded players!"

Josh Cole

“Although Sawyers has strengthened West Brom’s midfield since his move from Brentford, it could be argued that Matheus Pereira has been Bilic’s signing of the summer.

“The Sporting Lisbon loanee has produced some real moments of magic this season for the Baggies and was utterly exceptional during last Saturday’s clash with Cardiff City.

“As well as firing in his second goal of the year, Pereira provided his fifth assist as he set up Sawyers in stoppage time.

“With the likes of Sawyers, Pereira and Grady Diangana all performing admirably during the opening weeks of the campaign, West Brom will be aiming to launch a sustained push for promotion in the Championship over the coming months.”

George Harbey

"I wouldn't say he has been to be honest, I'd say Pereira or Diangana.

"Sawyers has obviously been a fantastic signing for Albion, and he has been a class act alongside Jake Livermore in central midfield this term.

"But Pereira and Diangana change games more often - they have registered so many goals and assists this season, and have won them points on their own.

"Semi Ajayi also deserves a shout - for the amount of money they brought him in for, he has been outstanding in defence."
