Millwall are enjoying a fine season and head into their final eight games with the play-offs firmly in their sights, but there has been one standout performer for the South London outfit this term in Jed Wallace.

The former Portsmouth and Wolves man has always possessed an abundance of talent, but has often struggled for consistency. In truth, if Wallace had been more consistent over the years, there's every chance he wouldn't still be at Millwall.

His campaign began in spectacular fashion after he scored the winning goal with a fine volley on the opening day against Preston North End.

And despite a run of just one goal in his next nine league outings, Wallace's penalty in the victory over Leeds United sparked a quite remarkable run of form.

The flying winger would have a hand in 12 goals in as many matches - with six goals and six assists - as the Lions quickly climbed up the Championship table. Wallace's standout moments were his two free-kicks, both of which were scored in Wales, against Swansea City and rivals Cardiff City.

We have gathered together some of the best tweets about Wallace throughout this season, and not just from Millwall fans, either.
