Bristol City face competition in the race to sign Watford starlet Randell Williams with Portsmouth and Brentford also keen on the 22-year-old winger, according to the Bristol Post.

Williams is currently out on loan at Wycombe Wanderers where he is enjoying a second successful loan spell and it is this form that has sparked interest from potential sutors.

So would Williams be a good addition for the Robins?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

I think so.

Lee Johnson's side have started to look like getting back to their best in recent weeks but perhaps still need a creative spark.

Williams could easily be that man.

Jacob Potter

He’s surely worth a punt in the Championship.

Williams has impressed with Wycombe this season but will be looking to add some goals to his name in this year’s campaign.

The 22-year-old could have a bright future ahead of him and Bristol City could be the club for him to develop in the early stages of his career.

George Harbey

I think he could be a hidden gem.

Williams looks like a really useful player - he’s strong, quick and direct, and could be a real handful for the Robins.

Lee Johnson needs to get this wrapped up.

Alfie Burns

He’s not exactly setting the world alight at the moment, but the potential is there.

It could be a good signing, if Lee Johnson can unearth that potential.

The manager has done it in the past, so who knows.
