Aston Villa are enjoying a successful second season of Championship football, with Steve Bruce’s men in the mix for a top-six finish approaching the halfway stage of the season.

The club is well-placed in the league, with a finely balanced squad incorporating an excellent blend of experience and youth, and fans will be confident in their side’s ability to go the distance this season.

Youth has played a key role in the club’s success so far, with the likes of Keinan Davis, Andre Green and James Bree all making an impact upon the first-team this term.

19-year-old Davis has particularly stood out, with the club releasing an infographic on Twitter revealing that the teenage forward had played in 1,270 minutes of league action this season, with only James Milner soaking up more first-team exposure as a teenager for the club in a single league season with 1,361 minutes.

Davis is set to smash this record out of the park with over half the campaign remaining, and it is obvious the player has a bright future at the club and in the game.

Fans took to Twitter to have their say on the impressive statistic…
