Leeds United's promotion hopes took a bit hit last weekend as they lost out to rivals Sheffield United at Elland Road.

The Whites are still only a point behind the top two though, and heading into this weekend's tie with Millwall, they will be hoping for three points to get them back on track.

With the top two spots in the hands of Sheffield United and Norwich - wins in all eight games will see both promoted regardless of Leeds' form - Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping that his team can put enough pressure on the Blades to force a slip up.

And respected pundit David Prutton has given his take on the situation at Leeds, writing for the Yorkshire Post and stating that he believes Leeds can't afford any more slip ups if they are to seal a top two spot.

Prutton is one of the Championship's most in the know pundits and usually is well respected in his views, but what do our writing team make of Prutton's comments on Leeds?

We asked a selection of our writers to give us their views on Prutton's comments on Leeds...

Jacob Potter
"He’s spot on.
"Leeds can’t afford any more slip ups at this stage of the season.
"Anymore dropped points and they certainly won’t be in the top two by the end of this year’s campaign."
Chris Gallagher
"I'm not so sure.
"The Championship is known as one of the most unpredictable leagues in the world and I can see the top three dropping points where many wouldn't expect them to.
"Obviously, Leeds need to be consistent between now and May but I don't think it's a case of they simply have to win every game to go up."
Jay Taylor
“If they do, it could well be game over.
“With Sheffield United in form and West Brom breathing down their necks - dropping point could be catastrophic. “It’s pressure time in Championship and Prutton is right with his words on Leeds.”
