It is a battle of two Championship heavyweights when West Brom entertain Leeds United at the Hawthorns in the late game on Saturday, in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Leeds will be looking to hold onto top spot in the Championship, whilst the Baggies will be hoping to get back to winning ways following a blip in their form.

Despite the downturn in their form, Leeds winger Pablo Hernandez believes that West Brom will be contenders come the end of the season. But is he right?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

Not if they don’t sort out their fundamental issues, no.

They’re still not tight enough at the back and when opposition fill the midfield, service to the dangerous front players is cut off.

They’re easy to defend against now, the last four matches they’ve looked terrible.

They’ll fall away if they’re not careful.

Louie Chandler

Definitely - He's spot on.

They have had a wobble recently but the Championship table is still so tightly contested that another run of results could see them top the table again.

With the likes of Gayle, Barnes and Rodriguez they will always have a chance.

Jay Taylor

With the money they have and the quality in their side, West Brom are of course contenders for promotion.

Any side that had been relegated the year before is usually one of the favourites to return and with the Baggies keeping a fair few players from last year, they are one of the favourites.

Despite their dip in form, Pablo Hernandez is right to say West Brom are contenders.
