Nottingham Forest have been in and amongst the race for the play-offs for much of the campaign so far, with Sabri Lamouchi's side currently occupying fifth place after 34 games played, thus underlining their credentials as serious promotion contenders.

The Frenchman has got his side playing some great stuff under his stewardship this term and will surely be hopeful of achieving their objective of a Premier League return come the end of the season.

Despite their clear and obvious achievements however, West Brom boss Slaven Bilic has clearly taken a swipe at the Reds in recent weeks, with the Croat telling the Birmingham Mail that he feel the City Ground club are clearly "dreaming" of a top two finish this term as they look to chase down the Baggies and Leeds United respectively.

Given the critical point in the season that we now find ourselves at, we felt now was a good time for Football League World Journalist Chris Thorpe to ask members of the Nottingham Forest Supporters Group on Facebook for their take on Bilic's cryptic remark, thus yielding a wide array of responses from the City Ground faithful.

Here, we take a look at some of the best comments from the Forest fanbase via social media earlier today.

Dan Allgood: We have to be realistic though, we are not at the same standard as the current top two.

Ryan Wilson-Law: Baring in mind he’s got six or seven players of Premier League standard in that squad, they should be miles away from us!

Andy Perks: He’s right. We are dreaming.

Gareth Clements: 100% correct. We will just about scrape into the top six.

Mike Newberry: Whether I think he’s right or not, the guy is an idiot.

Craig Radford: He must have been wearing a Chris Wilder costume when he said it.

Bethany Brooks: Doesn't every team dream of a top 2 finish?

Mark Nffc Dean: We aren't going to finish in the top two. Bilic is correct.
