West Bromwich Albion have made a very promising start to the season under Slaven Bilic and are currently two points clear at the top of the Championship table.
The likes of new arrivals Grady Diangana and Romaine Sawyers have been instrumental in Albion’s strong start to life under Bilic, but the Croatian has also been able to get the best out of the players who were already at the club since taking charge at the Hawthorns in the summer.
The likes of Kyle Bartley and Hal Robson-Kanu have impressed hugely in recent games and another player who has got West Brom fans talking on social media is goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
The 26-year-old has been an ever-present for West Brom in the Championship this season – conceding 17 goals and keeping three clean sheets.
The shot-stopper came in for a bit of criticism from Baggies fans at the start of the campaign, but he’s made some important saves in recent games.
Will West Brom beat Hull City tomorrow?
Baggies HQ asked West Brom fans on Twitter what they have made of Johnstone’s start to the season so far and plenty of fans have been pleased with his recent performances. Here is a look at some of the best responses from Albion supporters…
He's really raised his game this season, i always enjoy seeing a player grow in confidence because you can see the improvement each week like we've seen with Sam. Now we're seeing why he caught Man United's eye when he was younger 👍🏼

In his groove looking good and another outsider for player of year for us like Bartley and Livermore has completely turned form around. Against stoke he showed more confidence off his line which is the one thing I want to see more of from him. Brilliant kicker too
