The England team released a cryptic tweet this morning whilst promoting the new entry method to Wembley Stadium.

The intention was to raise awareness of the new Apple Wallet method of gaining entry to the upcoming England against Italy game, but it started with the message 'We see you Ryan Sessegnon'. Many have taken it as the broadest indication yet that the Fulham youngster could be in manager Gareth Southgate's plans.

He's very much the man of the moment, coveted by top flight teams and classed by football magazine FourFourTwo as one of the 40 most exciting teenagers in world football. As a left attacking full back he's a rare commodity too and he can play further forward as well as wing back.

He won't be a stranger to the England speculation either, in an interview in March with the Evening Standard he suggested he would be ready, should a call to arms for Russia 2018 come his way. He said: "If I did get the call, it would be a fantastic achievement. I’ll be ready if I get the call. If I don’t, I’ll be cheering them on the TV hoping they do well."

Fans were quick to react to today's news, with the exciting teenager a possible wild card that could surprise and delight fans of the international game.
