Patrick Bamford has claimed everything is perfect for him at Leeds United and has pledged his future to the club, which has drawn an interesting reaction from many Whites fans.

The 26-year-old has been Marcelo Bielsa's first-choice forward this term, missing just one Championship game all season.

Bamford's all-around game and work off the ball has been excellent but he has not been wholly convincing in front of goal – scoring just 13 times this season.

The striker has played an important role in the Whites' ascent to the top of the Championship table but you'd understand if there were concerns among the Elland Road faithful over whether he could cut it in the top flight.

Bamford has been something of a divisive figure since arriving in 2017, often taking flak from his own fans, but has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he feels settled at the West Yorkshire club.

He said: "I don't think I've ever been at a club and been as settled in terms of the area, I'm close to my family, I love the club, the training ground, I love the lads.

"Everything about it is perfect.

"So for me I would be delighted to be here for the foreseeable future in terms of the next five years and see what we can achieve."

It will be interesting to see whether the Whites look to bolster their striking unit this summer, with the club reportedly having an obligation to buy Jean-Kevin Augustin if they're promoted.

The 26-year-old's comments have drawn an interesting reaction from many Whites supporters, with some indicating Bamford's not good enough and others suggesting that he will be off in the summer.
