Leeds United fans will be sitting tight to find out how the 2019/20 Championship season will be completed, with the Whites on the precipice of a promotion to the Premier League.

The Yorkshire giants have been languishing in the EFL for years now, but now sit at the summit of the Championship table having amassed 71 points, as they sit one point clear of West Brom who occupy second spot, with just nine games left to play.

One of the integral cogs in Leeds' success this season has been striker Patrick Bamford.

The former Middlesbrough striker has chipped in with 13 goals for Marcelo Bielsa's side, whilst also recording two assists in what has been a fruitful campaign for the striker.

His tireless work-rate, and ability to help create attacking opportunities has gained him many plaudits, though at the same time he has often been criticised for his lack of killer edge in front of goal.

Naturally, with Leeds so close to a promotion to the top-flight, debate has already began amongst Whites fans as to whether Bamford would be good enough to be the main striker for them in the top-flight.

And, it's fair to say this debate caused a split among Leeds fans on social media, if these responses are anything to go by......
