Leeds United are currently holding off on allowing 24-year-old misfit Hadi Sacko to return to Elland Road until they can be sure of sending him straight back out on loan again, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

He's currently on loan in the Spanish second division with Las Palmas, but after just five outings for him they want to cut his season-long loan deal short.

That move is being resisted by Leeds, who want him going straight back out if they're to allow the cancellation.

It's a further fall from grace for Sacko, who played 38 matches under Garry Monk in the 2016/17 season, but made just one start following his permanent move from Sporting CP.

The former French Under 20 international is now stuck in limbo, not wanted by his parent club or his current loan club.

Leeds fans have been keen to express their opinions of the situation on Twitter, with many delighted that their club have take such a stance with Las Palmas. Few seem keen to have Sacko back at Elland Road, although one asks if perhaps Bielsa could work some magic on him as he has done with Mateusz Klich.

Here's what they're saying on social media about the winger.
