Sheffield United winger David Brooks put in a wonderful display for the Welsh national team, as The Dragons drew at home to World Cup qualifiers, Panama.

The Blades winger was the best player on the pitch, with a series of mazey runs complimented by his wonderful passing ability, and the young star was rightly awarded with the man of the match award to cap off a wonderful week.

Making his debut last week, Brooks rekindled the hopes of Welsh supporters for the future of the national side, after Chris Coleman’s men failed to qualify for next year’s World Cup in Russia.

A number of youngsters made their debuts last night, with Chelsea’s 17-year-old midfielder Ethan Ampadu particularly impressing, with murmurings the Welsh are entering a new golden era of talent becoming rife.
