Ipswich Town remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship, currently five points from safety with only one win to their name all season.

New boss Paul Lambert will be encouraged though, having picked up points in the draws against Preston and Reading in their last two outings.

So, what have you made of Lambert's immediate impact at Ipswich?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

I've been impressed.

They are competing in games and earning points so it's a decent start.

They need to start winning but it seems as though early impressions are that the players and fans are liking what he is doing.

Sam Rourke

He's made them much more organised.

They were fantastic against Reading in the first half at the Madejski on Saturday, and if they play like that again all season, they will stay up.

Lambert seems to have galvanised the dressing room and will be looking to secure his first win in charge after the international break.

George Harbey

It’s been solid.

No-one expected him to go in there and win five games on the bounce, it was all about stopping the rot really.

On another day they could have beat Reading at the weekend - I reckon they’ll be fine this season.

Jay Taylor

Never underestimate what an experienced hand can do for a club who are struggling.

Paul Lambert has been there and done it and is certainly a man who can steady the ship and look to move Ipswich up the league.

They were close to looking like Barcelona on the weekend in the first half against Reading, but tailing off but he has organised them and instilled discipline into their ranks.

It’s been a thoroughly impressive turn around in two games since his arrival.
