2018 continues to disappoint Leeds United, who have managed to pick up just one victory since the turn of the year, which has left their season spiralling out of control.  

Luckily for Leeds, a strong start to the season means that relegation doesn’t look like threatening Paul Heckingbottom’s side, however, results are still a major concern.

Leeds’ only victory of 2018 came against Brentford last month, but another defeat over the course of the weekend left Elland Road deflated not for the first time in recent weeks.

Since Heckingbottom’s arrival at Elland Road, Leeds have picked up just one victory in eight.

The 40-year-old has been discussing results to the Yorkshire Evening Post, admitting that he has not had the impact he wanted at Elland Road following his arrival from Barnsley, as Leeds’ season continues to drift towards a disappointing finish.
