QPR are up to fifth in the Championship after Mark Warburton's side battled to a 3-2 win on the road at Hull City at the weekend, in a match that saw a brace from attacking midfielder Ebere Eze.

This took Eze's goal tally to six in 12 appearances in the league and consolidated his position as one of the brightest talents not only in the QPR side, but undoubtedly in the division.

With this in mind, would you say Eze is the best attacking midfielder in the Championship right now?

We discuss.........

Kris Smith

“I would say so. He is showing for QPR just how good he is and could be in the future, after all, he is only 21-years-old and has plenty of time to improve.

“He showed in QPR’s win over Hull City just what he can bring. Two driving runs single-handedly putting the away side in the lead after being hauled down in the box for two separate penalties.

“Eze has scored six goals already this season from midfield and is QPR’s key player as they currently sit in fifth, three points off top spot.

“Eze has a long way to go in his career, with his future almost certainly laying in the top-tier, but for now he is proving to be one of the hottest properties in the league and would probably walk into every championship side at the moment.”

Chris Gallagher

"He's got to be up there.

"His natural talent is clear to see and the way he can beat players effortlessly and find passes is a joy to watch at times.

"To be considered the best he needs to add goals to his game on a regular basis and he is starting to do that now, even if some are penalties.

"You would say that he needs to show this form over a longer period to say he is better than someone like Tom Cairney for instance but he certainly has the ability and potential to star at this level and it does seem a matter of time before a Premier League club comes in with a serious offer for him."

Jacob Potter

"He’s definitely up there.

"Eze made it look easy against Hull City at the weekend, and he’s a player that has taken QPR into the play-off places with his contribution so far.

"He has six league goals to his name already, and I think he’ll go on to reach double figures in no time at all.

"Ovie Ejaria at Reading is a player that displays similar attributes to Eze, but the QPR man edges it with his impressive record to date in front of goal so far this season.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if he was attracting interest from Premier League clubs in the January transfer window, and QPR will face a real battle to keep him at the club for the future."
