Leeds United claimed an important victory over Bristol City, by two goals to nil on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites had been left frustrated after a drab first-half at Elland Road, but then ultimately got what they deserved - goals from Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez sealing all three points for Leeds after Josh Brownhill’s earlier red card for City.

It’s fair to say that Robins boss Lee Johnson won’t be the most popular man in Yorkshire after his post-match comments however - the 37-year old labelled Leeds as “lucky” and that they had “got away with it” after a frustrating afternoon for City.

Leeds, who accrued a rate of 63% possession and registered 20 shots on goal over the 90 plus minutes, remain 3rd in the Championship table just one point off the automatic promotion places, whilst City languish in 14th position.
