Blackburn Rovers season failed to catch fire with Tony Mowbray's side failing to mount a serious promotion challenge and eventually ending the season in 15th place, some 14 points off a play-off place.

This summer Mowbray will be looking to strengthen his squad with a view to challenging for top-six next season, but he will also need to look at his current crop like star-man Bradley Dack and to what the future holds for the 25-year-old at Ewood park.

Early season Dack carried a hefty valuation and a move to a top Premier League side was touted, but the move failed the materialise and Dack went on to score 17 goals and make 10 assists in 43 Rovers appearances in all competitions.

It'll be interesting to see how Rovers get on next season, and it may be worth checking the best betting sites to get an idea to what their odds will be.

So will Dack stay put at Rovers this summer?

We discuss........

Gary Hutchinson

“It’s interesting, before Christmas I thought Dack was superb.

“After the festivities though he wasn’t as effective and his value may have dropped.

“Last summer he seemed set for a top six move but, if he went this summer, it might be to one of the midtable Premier League sides.

“I think he might just stay put.”

Alfie Burns

“Absolutely – he needs another season at this level to truly prove himself.

“Dack is a great player and he did some good things at Blackburn last season. However, you’ve got to feel that if a club is going to pay top dollar for him, he will have to do it more consistently.

“He’s certainly one to watch next season in the Championship.”

Toby Wilding

"I think he will.

"He has two years left on his contract at Ewood Park, meaning Blackburn are in no need to sell one of their key men. You feel Dack also enjoys being that important to a team, something he probably wouldn't get the chance to do elsewhere.

"Rovers have also placed an £18million price tag on Dack, and after just one year in The Championship, I can't see many sides wanting to take the risk of spending that much on the 25-year-old."

Louie Chandler

"It is very hard to tell.

"Dack was incredibly sought after up until January but since then that desire seems to have vanished.

"I still think someone will come in for him but it would not surprise me to see him stay either.
