Leeds United will go into the New Year top of the Championship table despite losing 2-0 to Hull City last weekend.

Derby County helped them out by twice coming from behind to beat fellow promotion challengers Norwich City 4-3 at Carrow Road although West Brom's draw with Sheffield Wednesday narrowed the gap on the top-two slightly.

On the pitch for Leeds, it remained a disappointing and slightly worrying afternoon, none more so than for Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison who was hauled off at half-time by Marcelo Bielsa after an ineffective 45 minutes.

Harrison suffered the exact same fate in the 3-2 win against Aston Villa less than a week ago leading many to question why he is still at the club.

But Bielsa has come out since to reveal that he is more than happy with the winger's contribution to the club since joining in the summer.

Is he right to be happy, though?

He's been a huge disappointment.

Harrison arrived at Elland Road with high hopes, but he hasn't performed consistently to a high standard, which will be frustrating.

But Bielsa's reluctance to drop him for Jack Clarke seems strange, and it could put a halt to the youngster's development if he continues to start the underperforming Harrison over him.

I'm torn.

He's been good at times - quiet at others.

For me, I think you'd like to see a bit more from him given how good he has been at times but consistency can be hard to come by when you're in and out of the side.

Not at all, he’s been woeful.

Leeds need more from their wingers, particularly one on loan from Manchester City.

It won’t just be Bielsa concerned, Pep Guardiola will be furious.
