There was a surprise result last weekend in the Sky Bet Championship, when struggling Sunderland managed to hold Wolverhampton Wanderers to a goalless draw at Molineux.

Despite Wolves’ slip-up, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side managed to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the Championship table, and will be looking to at they very least maintain that lead this weekend when they face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Nuno has been dealt a blow heading into tonight’s clash at Hillsborough, with Barry Douglas unavailable due to a knock picked up in last weekend’s draw with Sunderland, as reported by the Express and Star’s Tim Spiers.

Douglas has been an impressive figure at left wing-back this season, featuring on 15 occasions in the Championship, scoring two goals and assisting a further seven.

The Scot’s absence is likely to open the door for Ruben Vinagre to deputise, which has got Wolves’ supporters excited.

Here is how they reacted to the news of Douglas’ absence…
