The Championship draw specialists Nottingham Forest seem to have found the winning formula with two wins on the bounce taking them up to ninth in the table with 14 points.

But in a squad bulging with imported talent it is the performance of 24-year-old Ben Osborn that is catching the eye, having seemed to have nailed down a midfield berth under Aitor Karanka.

But is midfield the best position for Osborn?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

I believe so.

With all these signings it is up to the existing players to fight and keep their place in the side.

And after his recent performances, he is showing why the middle of the park is his home, having been influential for Forest in there.

He is doing a fine job keeping out a plethora of new midfield players at present. He's becoming undroppable.

Gary Hutchinson

He certainly seems to be comfortable there doesn’t he?

He’s a special talent too and it is refreshing to see a Forest stalwart thriving with the new faces at the club.

The longer he plays in one position, the better he’ll get.

George Harbey

I think Osborn’s recent performances against Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham have shown everyone that his best position is in midfield.

He linked up magnificently well with Carvalho for his goal against Wednesday, and put in another impressive performance against Rotherham - he should definitely keep his place in games to come.
