Tony Pulis is looking to reshape his Middlesbrough squad this summer, with the hope that his side can bounce back following last season’s disappointing end to the campaign.

After finishing fifth in the table, Boro saw their promotion hopes dashed by Aston Villa in the play-off semi-finals.

According to reports in the Mirror (19/06, 20:06), Aden Flint is on Pulis’ radar, with he Boro boss preparing a £5m bid for the centre-back.

Flint was impressive last season for Bristol City, helping the Robins compete for the play-offs in the Championship, as well as reach the semi-final of the Carabao Cup.

The 28-year-old made 46 appearances across all competitions, with the centre-back returning nine goals and two assists for Lee Johnson’s side.

As expected, news of Boro’s approach received plenty of reaction, with many people on social media questioning the £5m that will reportedly be offered.
