Leeds United made a strong start to the Sky Bet Championship, but have wobbled in recent weeks.

The Whites have lost three out of their last four league fixtures, and one particular Leeds player has seemed to get a lot of stick on social media.

German keeper Felix Wiedwald seems to often be made the scapegoat by Leeds fans, but is he actually deserving of recent criticism?

We put it to the writers here at Football League World and they issued their opinions....

Chris Gallagher

He's a major worry for Leeds.

The run of clean sheets, where the German had little to do, was clearly down to the defence and not Leeds having the new Nigel Martyn.

He has been unconvincing for a while now and he reached his lowest point last time out. You could question his bravery for the first against Wednesday whilst he struggled to deal with anything properly all afternoon.

It can be harsh to make such quick judgements on a new signing, but Leeds aren't going up with him in goal.

Alfie Burns

Absolutely.

Wiedwald deserves criticism in the same way that Marco Silvestri did at Elland Road, as he is showing the same weaknesses that the Italian did in the Championship.

The German has all the makings of a good goalkeeper, but must learn to be braver and command his area.

At this moment in time, Leeds’ decision to move Rob Green out is looking foolish.

George Dagless

He's the weak link.

Leeds as a team have not been as good recently as they were at the start of the campaign and Wiedwald is one of the prime suspects.

He's looked fragile and indecisive at times - all the qualities you don't want in a goalkeeper - and it could be time that Andy Lonergan comes back into the side.

Adam Simeoni

Leeds fans expect too much.

The club have been excellent so far this season barring their last two outings, and a wobble in form has to be expected at some stage.

Fans need to lay off the German keeper, who has been solid enough for the majority of the season.

Leeds will come good in the coming weeks, and Wiedwald will recover from a difficult spell.
