Charlton Athletic have confirmed the signing of MK Dons forward, Chuks Aneke, with the forward's contract set to expire with the League One club.

Aneke has signed a two-year deal with Charlton and will be keen to hit the ground running for the newly-promoted side.

The Addicks are preparing for life in the Championship, after beating Sunderland in the play-off final at Wembley earlier this year.

Charlton boss, Lee Bowyer has recently signed a new deal himself, and is keen to add to his squad before the new season gets underway in August.

Aneke was in impressive form for MK Dons last season, and scored 19 goals as they returned to League One.

Bowyer will be hoping that the 25-year-old can build on these impressive showings heading into the new season, and if he can, then it'll prove to be a shrewd signing by the Addicks.

It's safe to say that the majority of Charlton fans were pleased with their new arrival.
