‘Hero, well played’ – Derby County fans delighted to see key man get off the mark

Derby County continued their push towards promotion to the Premier League with a commanding 3-0 win over Brentford at Pride Park yesterday.

The Rams were good value for the win and punished a red card for the Bees to run out comfortable winners and continue their impressive league form, which has seen them become one of the top contenders in the Championship this term.

One of goalscorers yesterday was midfielder Tom Huddlestone, who finally got on the scoresheet in his second spell as a Ram, his first goal since making his debut way back in 2003, some 15 years ago!

Huddlestone was clearly delighted and took to Twitter following the game with a message about his goal and to express his delight.

Obviously, Huddlestone is some what of a favourite at Pride Park and the responses flooded in to the midfielder.
