Sheffield Wednesday got themselves a much needed away win yesterday as they came away with a solid 1-0 victory against Ipswich Town.

The Owls were made to wait to get the winner, but Lucas Joao finally tucked away in the dying embers of the game to send the away end into raptures and give Steve Bruce his first three points in the Wednesday dug out.

It was the defensive display from the Owls which did more to impress though, and one man who has been key since making his return to the starting XI is goalkeeper Kieren Westwood.

The stopper has been in fine form since being thrust back into the action following Jos Luhukay's departure, and he made his 150th appearance for the Owls yesterday with a clean sheet to celebrate.

Westwood is clearly a well liked figure amongst the Wednesday faithful, and plenty of their fans were on hand to congratulate Westwood and seemingly ask the club to give him a new deal so he can hit the next 150 in coming seasons.
