‘Here we go again’ – Many Charlton fans frustrated by club post ahead of Gillingham clash

Charlton Athletic’s game against Gillingham is under threat of postponement with a pitch inspection scheduled at The Valley for 1pm, which has drawn a frustrated response from fans of the South London club.
Lee Bowyer’s side host the Gills this afternoon looking to pick up consecutive wins for the first time since the start of November.
The Addicks’ 2-0 win against Rochdale last weekend will have boosted their confidence and they now welcome 16th-placed Gillingham as they look to keep pace in the promotion race.
It seems they may not get the chance, however, with the game at The Valley under threat of postponement due to the impact of the cold weather on the pitch.
Charlton have announced that a pitch inspection will take place at 1pm ahead of the game.
🚨 There will be a pitch inspection carried out at 1pm ahead of today’s game.
Although the majority of the pitch is playable, there are still a couple of areas that will need to thaw before a decision is made. #cafc pic.twitter.com/Kco8nVARRo

The majority of the pitch is playable but there are still multiple areas that need to thaw before a decision is made about whether to postpone the game or not.
With a congested schedule already over the next few weeks, the last thing Bowyer’s side will want is to have to squeeze the fixture in further down the line.
Aneke? Williams? – Can you name which Charlton Athletic player scored each these 15 goals this season?
There’s concern among the Charlton fans as well, with many taking to Twitter to voice their frustration.
