Leeds have been arguably the Championship's biggest surprise package this season, as they sit in one of the Play-Off positions, keeping the pressure up on the front two.

The Peacocks have been rejuvenated under the guidance of Garry Monk, who has done a fantastic job given the resources he has at his disposal and the circumstances surrounding the club.

With Andrea Radrizzani having just bought a 50% stake in Leeds, Monk will be hoping for a bit of money to strengthen his squad in January ahead of the final push for promotion.

One player who Monk could look to bring back to the club is former Leeds fan favourite, Max Gradel.

The Ivorian is well out of favour at Bournemouth and seemingly seeking a move away, with rumours he will hand in a transfer request to force a move through.

Gradel would be welcomed back with open arms at Elland Road and would add some serious depth to the Leeds attack.

Here, FLW's Chris Wilson will look at the new potential new Leeds attack, including Gradel, that is scarily good....

RW: Hadi Sacko

The 22-year-old winger is currently on loan at Elland Road for the season from Portuguese side, Sporting CP.

Sacko has immediately become a fans favourite amongst the Leeds faithful; his attacking intent and hard work off the ball has lead to Leeds fans taking him as one of their own.

Sacko has the ability to go past players with ease, something only a handful of players in the Championship have.

His pace and guile from the wing has played a huge part in Leeds getting where they are, and if they are to stay there, then Sacko will play a huge part.

CAM: Kemar Roofe

After a shaky start to life in the Championship, Roofe has settled at Leeds and is starting to show why Monk paid so much money for him.

Roofe began the season on the wing but a master stroke from the Leeds boss to move him inside has paid off for Leeds.

Roofe often found himself lost on the wing and out of the game for large chunks.

Since the move inside, he has been more involved and he is now a key figure in the Leeds attack.

Roofe is a clever player and he finds space well, which makes him a good player to play in the attacking midfield role.

He is also willing to push forward and support Chris Wood, who often gets isolated up front on his own.

LW: Max Gradel

The Ivorian winger is no stranger to Elland Road after spending over 18 months there around five years ago.

He was eventually sold to Saint Etienne before returning to English football with Bournemouth but he has now fell out of favour.

Gradel is quite a similar player to Sacko, he can breeze past defenders and has the end product to match.

If Leeds could get him in and playing on the wing he would be a massive singing for them and he could be the deciding factor in whether they get promoted or not.

ST: Chris Wood

Wood is Leeds United's main man up front and if they can keep him fit and firing, they should maintain their Play-Off place.

After a slow start to life at Elland Road last season, the New Zealand international has really picked up this season and found his goal scoring touch again.

Wood has been spearing the Leeds attack this season to great effect, mostly playing up front on his own too.

The former Leicester hitman has 13 goals to his name already this season and if he can replicate that form in the second half of the season, Leeds have a great chance of returning to the top flight
