Nottingham Forest kept the pressure on their promotion rivals with a Lewis Grabban double enough to take all three points against struggling Ipswich Town at the weekend.

For Grabban it made it 15 goals in 15 games in all competitions, with the 30-year-old now on top of the Championship goal-scorers table with 14 goals for the season.

So how many goals should Forest expect from Grabban this season?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Considering he has 14 goals already he is on course for 30 plus but realistically I can see him hitting 20-25 goals this campaign.

Grabban is in the form of his life and certainly one of the reasons why Forest find themselves in the playoff places.

Injuries, suspension and loss of form are all possibilities with over half of the season left, therefore a lower tally than what is expected would probably be the end result.

Gary Huitchinson

I’d expect between 20 and 25.

That’s why Forest paid out the big bucks though.

He’s a natural scorer, like Dwight Gayle he’s a top Championship player but struggles in the PL.

He’ll see Forest in the top six.

Jacob Potter

He’s got to be aiming for 25+ goals this season.

The rate in which he’s going at this season, this has to be the minimum target.

In a Forest side with huge amounts of creativity to provide Grabban with the service, he can single-handedly fire the Reds to promotion.
