The mood at Elland Road is souring, with the Leeds United supporters becoming increasingly frustrated with Thomas Christiansen’s side, who are struggling to rediscover the form they showed earlier in the Sky Bet Championship season.

Leeds have slipped down to seventh in the Championship table over October, having won just twice in their last eight league fixtures. Of course, as with every club, certain players are made scapegoats by supporters, and at Elland Road, Jay-Roy Grot is one of those, with the Dutch 19-year-old yet to make a major impact since his move to West Yorkshire.

Grot has started just two Carabao Cup games for Leeds, with his other nine appearances coming as a substitute in the Championship. From his 11 outings, Grot is yet to score a goal, with the striker registering one assist.

The 19-year-old will be looking to add to his appearances tonight against Brentford, before linking up with Holland’s under-20 squad for next week’s international break.

Following confirmation of Grot’s international call-up, there was a split reaction from Leeds’ supporters, with many questioning his international capabilities, whilst others got behind the struggling striker.

Here is some reaction…
