Rangers have recently announced that Graham Dorrans has left the club by mutual consent, where the midfielder struggled with a number of injuries in his time at Ibrox.

Dorrans made 23 appearances for the Scottish side over a two-year spell, so it's safe to say that he hasn't made the impact he would have first hoped to.

The 32-year-old has been attracting interest from Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers and Fleetwood Town in recent weeks according to the Daily Express via a report from footballscotland.com.

But which club should Dorrans be looking at signing for in the near future?

We discuss....

Gary Hutchinson:

"Bolton, 100%.

"I keep saying it, but anyone getting in at Bolton now is on to a winner. They’re expected to go down and fail, so anything else would be considered a big achievement. It’s a no-lose situation for a player.

"Also, Keith Hill plays nice football, he’s done it at Rochdale and he’ll do it again. They’ll get big crowds, passionate crowd who have almost seen their club fold.

"Regular football is almost certain, something Pompey might not offer him. Every aspect of a move to Bolton is good for Graham Dorrans, as long as the money is right."

Jacob Potter:

"I think he’ll be tempted by a move to Portsmouth in the near future.

"Kenny Jackett’s side have the best chance of winning promotion this season out of the teams interested in signing him, so it should be a no-brainer for Dorrans.

"Bolton are only just recovering from a number of off-the-field problems, so I’d be surprised if he was willing to head over there.

"But he’s a midfielder that would bring a lot both on and off the pitch to whichever teams he decides to join in the near future.

"His experience will come in handy, and he’ll be keen to recapture the form he had previously shown in his time with West Brom.

Portsmouth is the best place for him, and I’d be stunned if he chose any other team over them."

George Dagless:

"I'd say Fleetwood or Bolton.

"Dorrans wants to be playing football after his release from Rangers and providing he can show he is fit enough, he could be a good signing for the right club.

"Portsmouth perhaps can't guarantee him a start, but Bolton surely can and Fleetwood will be able to with him knowing Joey Barton as well.

"I think it'll be one of the north-west clubs to be honest."
