Birmingham City have made a decent start to the season under caretaker head coach Pep Clotet, although they are now without a win in their last five league matches.

The Blues' 1-1 draw against Millwall at the weekend has left them 15th in the Championship table, six points outside the play-offs.

Clotet has been in caretaker charge of Birmingham since the club parted company with Garry Monk in the summer. The Spaniard has made a decent start to life in charge of the Blues, although his side have suffered a bit of a dip in form over recent weeks.

It was reported over the weekend that Birmingham are set to sack Clotet and appoint Coventry City manager Mark Robins as his replacement - although Robins has since dismissed these claims.

It is unclear whether there is any truth to the reports that Birmingham are set to axe Clotet, but speculation surrounding the Spaniard's future at St Andrew's has got plenty of Blues fans talking on social media.

A Brimingham fan posted on Facebook: "Do you think Pep will be manager at the start of next season? This should be interesting!!"

Plenty of Birmingham supporters were quick to respond to the question on Facebook and discuss Clotet's future at the club. Here is a look at some of the best comments from Blues fans...

Craig Poyner: I think they have plans for Calm who is really impressing in the Under-23s. Pep is just a puppet to pass the time.

Mick Hughes: Hope not good No. 2 but not a manager. KRO

Gary Checkley: Doubt it.

Stefan Clarkson: Well our board love to sack managers, wherever we are in the table! KRO

Tony Pope: Not a chance.

Kevin Pugh: The next few games will define his future imo... need to start winning or he'll be gone.

Andy Davies: We lose against Reading and I think they'll get rid of him... Chris Hughton pls.

Adam Chivers: No chance!

Wayne Harding: Can’t see it - would be very surprised if he was.

Ian Clarke: I don't think he will, but knowing this board I won't rule it out. KRO.

Mark Womwell: Yes I think he will be as long as we don't end up fighting a relegation battle... which we won't.

Nigel Brown: Hope he's gone before Christmas imo. KRO.

Barry Homan: I think he will be gone in January.
