Sheffield Wedneday’s defeat at Norwich City on Saturday ended a run of four successive draws, and extended the Owls’ winless run to a concerning five games.
Now ten points away from the top-six, the club’s promotion aspirations are fading fast, as is the future of manager Carlos Carvalhal.
The Portuguese is under serious pressure to deliver results amidst this barren run of form, with some fans calling for the former Besiktas boss’ head.
Things could be set to get worse at Hillsborough, with Sheffield Star journalist Dom Howson confirming via Twitter that the manager could be set for a touchline ban having been sent to the stands in the home draw with Hull City.
The incident was Carvalhal’s second dismissal of the campaign, with a hearing set to take place in London today to determine the fate of the under-fire boss.
Fans took to Twitter to have their say on a potential ban…
So ill disciplined, what message does this send to the playing staff.

Can they just not make it a lifetime ban from the club altogether!?

No great loss after yesterday’s performance. Perhaps he will be able to see how bad we’ve become better from the stand.

Hopefully for the rest of the season

It won't really matter, he'll be gone by Friday evening.
