‘He’ll be back before end of season’ – Leeds United fans react to recent club update

2018 has been a damaging year so far for Leeds United, who have seen their play-off push unravel following a series of events that have ultimately proved to send a promising season into chaos.

Suspensions have been Leeds’ major downfall early this year, and with Thomas Christiansen’s departure, there has already been a major change at Elland Road, with Paul Heckingbottom now in-charge.

The calendar year got off to the worst possible start against Nottingham Forest, with ever-present defender, Luke Ayling, picking up an ankle injury, which has ruled him out for the season.

Ayling, 26, has missed every fixture since that clash with Forest on January 1st, with Leeds winless during that spell.

Leeds’ official Twitter account (@LUFC) have moved to share an update on Ayling’s recovery, posting a series of pictures of the defender taking part in a light gym session as he steps up his road to recovery.
