Leeds United have had a cracking start to the season under Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa, currently sitting third in the Championship only two points off current leaders Sheffield United.

Bielsa 63, has achieved this level of performance with one of the smallest playing squads in the Championship, by utilising a philosophy that has served him well so far this season.

But what does this mean for players that have been sent out on loan by Leeds, players like Mallik Wilks, the 19-year-old forward who is currently plying his trade at Doncaster Rovers in League One.

Is there a place for Wilks at Leeds or will they sell him next summer?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

I think so.

He is doing well at Doncaster Rovers but if Marcelo Bielsa had faith in him now he would not have left to go on loan.

Leeds have a strong side going forward and will only add to that in January and the summer so that will push Malik Wills further down the pecking order.

Gary Hutchinson

He’s not doing badly at Doncaster and knowing Bielsa, he will want to give the youngster a decent crack of the whip.

With that in mind I don’t think he’s certain to be sold.

There’s every chance he’ll be looked at properly, assessed and then, maybe, sold.

George Dagless

Quite possibly.

He's had a decent start at Doncaster and surely realises that now he needs to be playing regularly.

Regardless of whether Leeds go up or not, I don't think he'll play much next season so it might be best to move on.

Jacob Potter

He'll be axed by Bielsa.

With Leeds challenging for the promotion places, and if they are to reach the Premier League then they will be adding several proven and experienced strikers to their ranks so Wilks is unlikely to feature amongst Bielsa’s plans.
