‘He’d thrive under Guardiola’ – Man City want to sign player in excellent form: Opinion

Norwich City continue to lead the way in the Championship after their most recent victory, a 1-0 win over Swansea City was enough to keep the Canaries two points clear at the top of the table.

With so much on the pitch success at Carrow Road this season, it is no surprise that bigger clubs are circling looking to make a move for Daniel Farke’s prized assets with full-back Max Aarons a potential target of Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk.

The 19-year-old is in great form with two goals and five assists in his 31 appearances so far this season, in his first senior season at Carrow Road.

So would Aarons be a good signing for Manchester City?

We discuss…..

Gary Hutchinson

“They want to sign him to stick him on the bench.

“He should avoid this move at all costs.

“If he wants a promising career halting suddenly, then it’s a great move.

“If he wants first team football, avoid.”

Jacob Potter

“He’d thrive under Guardiola.

“Aarons is one of the most exciting talents in English football and he could be the next big thing if he carefully considers his next move.

“A move to Manchester City could certainly see him challenge the likes of Kyle Walker for a starting spot in the near future.”

Jay Taylor

“This would be a great signing for City.

“Aarons has a tonne of potential and moving to the Etihad would give him all the tools to reach his full potential.

“There is a player in there, and Pep could well get him to impressive heights should he move to the Premier League champions.”
