Leeds could face competition from a host of clubs for the signature of Portsmouth winger Ronan Curtis, who has excelled this season at Fratton Park following his move from Derry City in the summer according to TeamTalk.

The winger has six goals in 14 appearances for Pompey and with Championship scouts already tracking the player closely it seems very likely there will be considerable interest for the player come January.

But where would be best for Curtis if he moved in the January window?

We discuss.....

He'd suit Sheffield Utd perfectly.

Even though competition for places is high in the Blades squad, Curtis offers something different that the other Sheffield United strikers don’t have.

His pace and clinical finishing could see him be an excellent addition to the side, but if he doesn’t get regular game time if he moved elsewhere then his development could be severely affected.

George Dagless

There are a few good places he could go.

Leeds is a great option, with Marcelo Bielsa in charge whilst Sheffield United would seem a good move with Chris Wilder's record in mind.

Overall, though, I'd like to see him stay at Portsmouth this season as they could end up in the Championship.

Louie Chandler

Somewhere where he most likely to play.

With that in mind it would probably be Sheffield United or Middlesbrough, but his best option would undoubtedly be to just stick it out at Portsmouth at least for the remainder of this season.

George Harbey

I think the best place for Curtis is staying at Portsmouth to be honest.

Portsmouth look set for a return to the Championship and he has been a revelation at Fratton Park, so what is the point in moving to someone like Leeds or Derby who have tonnes of players similar to Curtis?

A lack of game-time could tarnish his progress so far.
