Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa could well be viewing with interest, the targeting of Chelsea attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon by rivals Derby County, and it is not impossible to believe that he could not be tempted to make a move for the player himself.

Piazon, 24, has been at Chelsea since 2012 but having been sent out on loan over the following five seasons, seems to be struggling to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.

So would Piazon be a good addition to Leeds United?

We discuss.....

If Piazon is available, Leeds should consider a move.

Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison have been inconsistent on the left of midfield, so another body is probably needed in the New Year.

He'd suit Bielsa’s style and help pad out a very thin squad at Elland Road.

Jay Taylor

Leeds should certainly look to rival Derby for the signature of Lucas Piazon.

He could really add another dimension to United and Marcelo Bielsa as they look to get their promotion push on track and get back to the form that saw them start the season in sensational fashion.

Ironically, Piazon broke his leg last year against Leeds so if they were to come in for him it would see him join the side that had him sidelined for a long time.

George Dagless

Potentially.

They could perhaps do with one more attacking player at least and Piazon brings quality and promotion experience.

He could work well under Bielsa.
