Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa may need to stick his head above the parapet, if the Whites have any interest in signing free-agent and former Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah, amid interest from Bristol City, Millwall and Nottingham Forest, according to the Bristol Post.

Adomah was one of a number of players released by Dean Smith following their promotion and with Bielsa previously showing an interest in the  31-year-old a move by the Elland Road side cannot be over-looked.

So, is it time for Leeds to move for Adomah?

We discuss........

Kealan Hughes

"If they really want him then they have to bring him in now, as more and more clubs are becoming interested as time goes on.

"Adomah would be a brilliant addition not just because what he can offer on the pitch but his influence and know-how would be crucial to a Leeds side which doesn't have many promotion winners in it.

"Furthermore, the increased interest Adomah is only going to increase his demands in terms of his contract, Leeds are said to be on a budget so it is important they move quickly to prevent overspending on him."

Jacob Potter

"I’m surprised they’ve not renewed their interest.

"Adomah is a player that could be useful to Bielsa as he suits the style of play and work ethic required in his team.

"With Jack Harrison having left the club, and with Jack Clarke heading for the exit door, Leeds need to sign wingers ahead of next season.

"Signing the former Aston Villa man would be the sensible and safe option for Bielsa as he knows the Championship well and what it takes to get promoted to the Premier League."

George Brooks

"If they want him, then yes, but I personally think the club should be aiming for better.

"Adomah is a good player and would be a decent signing on a free transfer, but Leeds will be expected to challenge for automatic promotion next season and I think they need to be aiming for better quality signings.

"Adomah has got plenty of experience in the Championship, but he's not getting any younger and I think there are far better wingers out there.

"Adomah will want to be playing regular football next season, so I'm not sure a move to Elland Road would be the best option for him either."

Gary Hutchinson

“I wonder if Bielsa ever feels it’s the time to move. Even when deadline day approached like a speeding train in January he sat waiting for the right moment.

“The moment passed by back then and Leeds need to ensure that doesn’t happen again.

“Adomah has much more to offer than he’s been allowed to show recently. That season finishing top scorer for Villa proved that.

“He’d fit into the Leeds system well too. It’s time to get him in.”
