With the winter transfer window now firmly shut, the focus has seamlessly moved onto the summer window and the players that clubs are considering, with one player on Leeds United's radar understood as being former England international Aaron Lennon, as reported by The Sun.

The 31-year-old is currently on the books at Burnley, but has suffered a knee injury that could keep him out for the remainder of the season, but that has not squashed Bielsa's interest in the player who made his senior debut at the Elland Road club back in 2003.

So would Lennon start for Leeds if he was signed by the club right now?

We discuss.....

George Harbey

"I reckon he’d be in with a shout, definitely.

"When you sign a player of Lennon’s experience and quality, he’s got to go straight into the starting line-up.

"Alioski and Harrison have been poor this season, in my opinion, so Lennon would definitely provide some real competition."

Jacob Potter

"I don’t think he’d get a look in.

"Is he better than the likes of Jack Harrison and Jack Clarke? I don’t think so.

"I’ll admit that he would be a good squad player to have in Bielsa’s team, but there’s no way he would be a regular starter."

Gary Hutchinson

“Half the Under 23 team start, so you’d expect a former England international to get a run out.

“He’d definitely get a game. Jack Clarke is a useful lad but Lennon has been there and done it.

“He’d have a big impact at Elland Road, there’s no doubt of that at all.”
