Stoke City have endured a very mixed start to the season with a record of for wins, four draws and four defeats leaving them down in 14th place some nine points off the new leaders Sheffield United.

For beleagured Potters boss Gary Rowett he will be hoping the international break will give him a chance to marshal his troops ahead of the visit of Birmingham City in the league.

But who is Stoke City's one most prized asset?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

Jack Butland.

The goalkeeper is a top-flight stopper and could have moved in the summer.

He'd certainly rake in quite the fee if he was sold by the Potters and so I'm going to go for him.

Gary Hutchinson

Stoke have a lot of good players, but at the moment nobody is standing out for them.

Ryan Woods is a great player and once he settles I’d plump for him.

Clucas and McClean don’t get my pulse racing, but perhaps Joe Allen deserves an honourable mention.

Jacob Potter

Jack Butland

The England shot-stopper hasn’t hit his best run of form this season with the Championship side but remains one of their most prized assets.

He will be keen to rediscover the form that saw him be linked with the likes of Chelsea during the summer.
