Hull City's Jarrod Bowen is sure to be a man in demand in January when the transfer window reopens, but not many would have predicted that Spurs would have registered their interest.

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Mauricio Pochettino's side recently had scouts watching Bowen in Hull's game against QPR and they would have been impressed with what they would have seen.

Bowen netted a brace as Hull ran out 3-2 winners and his excellent start to this campaign could tempt the Premier League side into making a formal enquiry for his services.

It has been reported that Hull are unlikely to accept any offers that are below the £10m mark, which will hardly come as a surprise given that Bowen's good run of form is one of the main reasons as to why Hull aren't in the relegation zone currently.

According to The Sun, both Cardiff and Fulham are also thought to be interested in signing Hull's talisman in January, and it remains to be seen as to whether any of the three Premier League clubs will lodge a formal offer for Bowen.

So, would Bowen be a good signing for Spurs if he was to join?

We discuss....

It would be a huge step up for the player.

There's no doubt that Bowen can play in the Premier League, but I don't think he would add much to the Spurs squad.

Obviously it would be a fantastic move for him but game time would be hard to come by and I think the Premier League side could do better.

Alfie Burns

I'm not sure he will get much game time at that level.

However, a chance of moving from Hull to the top six is a big opportunity and he'd be foolish to turn it down.

Where his career goes from there is well up for debate, though.

It seems a very strange one.

Bowen is clearly a very talented attacker with a very bright future, but a move to the Premier League seems far too soon.

Especially to a side where he is unlikely to play.
