Leeds United travel to Bristol City this weekend with both sides looking to consolidate their position in the promotion mix in the Championship, but for Leeds it will also be a chance to cast an eye over winger Callum O'Dowda who was a transfer target back in January, as reported in the Bristol Post.

O'Dowda has been in good form this season with four goals and four assists in 30 appearances in all competitions, but with his contract expiring in 2020, he could be ripe for a move away from Ashton Gate.

So should Leeds test Bristol City's resolve over O'Dowda again in the summer?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“They can’t until the end of the season.

“Then it all depends. If they’re top flight, no.

“He’s not proven in the PL and they can’t take risks with new signings.

“If they stay down, yes. He’s a good Championship player.”

Jay Taylor

“It depends on which division they are in; I don’t think he is Premier League ready yet.

“But if they don’t go up, he should be a player high on their shopping list.

“And if that is the case, there is no harm in putting in a little bid in to test the waters.”

Sam Rourke

"He'd be a top signing, so why not?

"I'm a big fan of O'Dowda and think he has all the attributes to impress in the Premier League, so Leeds should make a move regardless of the division next season.

"Leeds will surely have one eye on O'Dowda this weekend, in what is a crucial fixture for both."
