Nelson Olivera could be heading towards the Carrow Road exit as the out of favour Portuguese striker appears to be on the radar of Nottingham Forest, according to the Nottingham Post.

£4.5m-rated Oliveira and Canaries boss Daniel Farke have never really having seen eye to eye at Norwich with the 27-year-old starting just 26 Championship games under the German coach in 2017/18, and has not made a single appearance so far this season.

Nonetheless, Nottingham Forest could be getting one of the Championship’s most skilled strikers, so is this a good move for Forest?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

It would be pretty decent to be fair.

Nelson Oliveira is yet to feature this season as the two have never really been on the same page.

He is like a younger Daryl Murphy but is agiler, and it could well work, and I think it would actually be a good move for both the club and the player.

Aitor Karanka should try and get this done ahead of Friday’s deadline.

Gary Hutchinson

A desperate one.

He’s a good player, but you can only play eleven and Forest have a strong squad.

It’s been a tough start, but the trick isn’t to sign more players, it is to use the ones they have.

So far, Karanka hasn’t shown he knows how to get the best out of his current squad.

George Dagless

He'd be a great signing.

He's a good player that can score goals for fun at this level in the right environment.

Clearly he and Daniel Farke do not get on but the Portuguese contingent at Forest should help him out.
