Leeds United have reportedly been offered Michel Vorm this month, with the goalkeeper seemingly surplus to requirements with Tottenham, according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist, Phil Hay.

Hay was speaking on the Inside Elland Road podcast, and revealed that Spurs had offered Vorm to the Whites to solve their problem position.

However, it was stated that Leeds are not targeting Vorm, as they have other targets in mind.

It's no surprise to see Marcelo Bielsa in the market for another goalkeeper, as he only has one first-team goalkeeper available to him in Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

With Jamal Blackman ruled out for the remainder of the season, the Leeds boss has had to rely on youngster, Will Huffer to be the back up choice at Elland Road.

It remains to be seen as to whether Leeds will register their interest in Vorm, but they'll need to act as quickly as possible to land a new goalkeeper to challenge Peacock-Farrell who has looked shaky at times this season.

But would Vorm be the ideal signing for Leeds this month?

We discuss....

Louie Chandler:

"He certainly would not be a bad signing.

"Vorm is someone who has experience in the English game and that is exactly what the Whites need between the sticks.

"Could they do better? Probably, but he would certainly be a top signing anyway."

Chris Gallagher:

"He'd be a decent signing.

"Vorm has struggled at Spurs when he's played over the past few seasons, so he's clearly not the player he once was.

"However, he should still be good enough for the Championship and his ability on the ball would be beneficial to a Bielsa team."

Jacob Potter:

"I'm surprised they aren't chasing him this summer.

"The Spurs goalkeeper has been kept out of the side by Lloris and it's no surprise to see him being offered to other clubs this month.

"Bielsa would be stupid not to make an offer for him."
