Sheffield Wednesday are interested in winger Kadeem Harris as Steve Bruce looks to strengthen his squad ahead of a potential promotion push next season.

It has been confirmed that the 26-year-old will be leaving Cardiff City on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the month.

And, Football Insider have revealed that Harris is attracting interest from the Owls and Middlesbrough as he weighs up his options. Bruce will be after several new recruits to help his side as he looks to make his mark on the squad.

So, would the 26-year-old be a good addition for the Owls and would he get into their XI?

Here our writers take a look...

Louie Chandler

"He would certainly have a chance.

"The Owls have released a few wide players and it's clear that the manager wants fresh faces brought in over the summer.

"There's a few talented options for Bruce in the final third but Harris has shown he is a good player and he could certainly get into the Wednesday side and make a big impact."

Jacob Potter

"He'd be a certain starter.

"Sheffield Wednesday need extra depth in wide areas heading into next season and I firmly believe that Harris would be more than capable of walking into Steve Bruce's starting XI.

"He offers pace going forward, and would compliment Adam Reach well to give the Owls real attacking threat."

Chris Gallagher

"You'd have to think he would.

"Harris is a good player and would give the Owls a real direct, quick threat that they lack out wide now.

"Bruce likes having that type of player in the side, so this would be a smart move and Harris would certainly improve the side in an area they need to strengthen."
