Paul Heckingbottom is still waiting for his first win as Leeds United manager after his side drew 2-2 with Derby County last night.

Hecky looked set to get off the mark at the third time of asking, going into stoppage time 2-1 ahead before Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer netted a late, late goal to deny Leeds.

Whites star Pablo Hernandez also suffered an injury in the game and while Heckingbottom was not particularly upbeat about the Spaniard's chances of being fit for the visit of high-flying Brentford to Elland Road on Saturday, he did not rule him out.

The Verdict

Hernandez would be a big miss for Leeds as I think his recent form has been good.

However, the return of Samuel Saiz from suspension will soften the blow and Ezgjan Alioski's goal last night hinted at a return to form which will also help.

I would be surprised if he featured on Saturday so soon after a muscle injury but if he does it'll be a major boost to Hecky's chances of getting his first win in charge.
