Scottish Premiership sides Hibernian and Hearts are interested in signing Carlisle United playmaker Jamie Devitt in the summer, according to reports from reliable journalist Alan Nixon.
The 28-year old has made over 120 appearances for the League Two side, since signing from Morecambe in 2016, and has established himself as a real fans' favourite at Brunton Park.
The Irishman has scored 12 goals and produced seven assists from midfield in all competitions this season, in a campaign where Steven Pressley's men narrowly missed out on top six finish in League Two.
But despite being an influential player for the Cumbrians over the last few years, the attacking midfielder is facing an uncertain future at Brunton Park, with his current deal set to expire in the summer.

And, Nixon claims the Edinburgh rivals are looking at signing Devitt on a free transfer, which would be a bargain for a player of his quality.
Carlisle finished the season occupying 11th spot in the League Two table, three points off the play-off spots.
The Verdict
I think it would be a massive blow for Carlisle if they were to lose Devitt in the summer, especially on a free transfer.
He is definitely one of the best players in League Two, and loves to produce goals whether that be from himself or assists.
Hibs and Hearts could pull of a fantastic signing here, and the pressure is now on for the club to find an even better replacement, should they fail to keep him at the Cumbria club.
